Akadot.com is going to revolutionize how anime news is treated. The site has several professional and fan writers hard at work to bring readers anime related news and information. When fully launched, akadot will be updated daily. Priding itself on its impartial coverage, akadot features in depth articles about the industry, provocative interviews with artists, unique columns, and all the latest anime and manga news. Akadot will also have polls, trivia, top ten lists, and random Q&A's with anime celebrities. With a new Tokyo office, akadot and its partner, Anime News Service (www.animenewsservice.com), will provide readers up to the minute updates and information about anime and manga. REVIEWS Akadot is creating a database of detailed anime reviews, complete with episode synopsis and numeric ratings. The preview site currently has reviews of "Appleseed," "Armitage III," "Kite," "Rail of the Star," and "Wings of Honneamise." There will be plenty more to come. ARTICLES Dedicating itself to impartial and journalistic coverage, akadot investigates and analyzes issues in the anime industry, bringing readers in depth articles on topics such as anime in the mainstream, anime and Japanese myths, and many more. On the preview site Luis Reyes' "Walking on Eggshells" tackles the issue of anime and censorship in the US.
