Winding toward the final episodes of the Cowboy Bebop TV episode run, it's kind of difficult to imagine that after the release of Session 6 in a few months, fans will have to wait until the completion of the Bebop Movie (maybe a year out) to see more of this awesome series.Themed around the Welsh Corgi in the series, Ein, the 5th volume includes TV episodes 19-22, trailers, and a bonus in the form of a textless version of the ED "The Real Folk Blues".
Episode 19: The Swordfish II needs an overhaul and Spike takes it into an old partner who is an aviation otaku nut to the extreme (with old salvage Apache Longbow attack helicopters just lying around in his yard). Meanwhile, Faye and Jet are on the trail of some space pirates, as usual, two totally unrelated situations tie-up up somehow and Spike could be done-in at the hands of the pirates, he's left burning up in the Earth's upper atmosphere.. What's that? The Space Shuttle Columbia could bail him out!?
Episode 20: Spike runs into a mindless killer with superhuman fighting skills and very dark past. He's called out to confront him at Space World, a space themed amusement park, has Spike met his toughest bounty challenge yet?
Episode 21: Jet gets an e-mail from an old friend and Feng Shui master. He's asked to bring his friend's daughter to position in hyperspace.
Episode 22: The Teddy Bomber is on a string of building bombings, but why? Spike nearly apprehends him, but a mysterious rival bounty hunter appears on the scene named Andy. This episode's showdown between Andy and Spike features some of the best traditional cel animation we've seen in Cowboy Bebop to-date.
