New masters have been created for this release. The Movies 35mm prints have been transfered to HD24P telecine. TV edition (16mm) 26 episodes have been cleaned up as well as image shaking. Supervised by Director Hideaki Anno, the color tone has been pured to original specs. Enormous time was taken to go through the frames and remove scratches and rubbish.
Digitally Remastered Audio
Supervised by the director, all TV episodes soundtracks have been remastered digitally including sound effects, music, the mixing etc. Original 2 channel audio included.
