6-29-98---- GAINAX Raided By Japanese Tax collectors?

Apparently Gainax has been "raided by around 80 agents from the Japanese tax office. Flash magazine, and Asahi Newspapers have ran stories on the event.

6-5-98---- Bubble-Gum Crisis Tv Series Deleyed

The new Bubble Gum Crisis television series has been pushed back to this fall. Originally plans were for the series to begin airing this spring in Japan.

6-4-98---- New Nuku Nuku OAV Series In Development

A second All purpose cultural cat girl Nuku Nuku OAV series is in the works. To be titled "Nuku Nuku Dash" this series picks up where the first left off. Look for it to be released in Japan in a few months time.

6-3-98---- Mononoke Hime American Debut Delayed

Miramax pictures (The studio responisble for dubbing and marketing the English languege version of the film), has delayed the theatrical release of Mononoke Hime, pushing the release date back to at least October.

6-2-98---- Pockemon U.S. Aquisiton Confirmed

After months of rumor, the hugely succesful Anime, game series and overall merchandising bonanza that is Pockemon is now bound for American shores. Current plans are to begin airing the show in the fall of '98 or early 1999. Toys video games and related merchandise are expected to be on store shelves simultaneously.
