A room with a view - After getting settled in our Akasaka area hotel room and sliding the blinds away from the window, Tokyo Tower can be see quite clearly all lit up in the evening. The main square in Shibuya - a massive sign for the Tokyu Corporation hangs on the huge building in the distance, the number 5 signifies 5 days remaining in the 2nd Millenium.

In this Namco arcade live DJ's do their thing late into the evening. In The Namco Arcade in Shibuya one can find photos of anyone who wants to post them up near photography booths.
More sample photos on display in the arcade. Manga No Mori, a small manga shop in Shibuya is filled with all the latest manga volumes, the store can be extremely cramped but digging around can often yield the dedicated otaku many treasures..
